The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) at its meeting of 6th February 2025 at Akure, Ondo State approved the “Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Rules (MCPD Rules)” pursuant to Rule 11 of the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners 2023. To continuously update the lawyer's knowledge, skills, and social responsiveness through training programmes to maintain high standards of professional competence throughout his/her career as a lawyer.
